Private Workshops

We offer a variety of plant making classes, either at our location or yours! See below for an overview of how it all works, available options and pricing. Interested in booking an event with us? How it works…!

• Workshop style:

  • Classroom (all attendees make the activity at once, slower pace).

    • Room must be set up so attendees can share materials between themselves, generally tables with groups of 4-6 people is perfect!

    • For large groups at your location, microphone/powerpoint capacity is highly beneficial!

    • 45 minutes- 1 hour is perfect

  • Walkup (4-6 people at once, faster paced)

    • great for 30+ guests, to go alongside other components to your event

    • functions as a great activity for people to do at their leisure during an event!

    • Takes about 5-10 minutes per small group

• Scheduling:

  • We require at least 4 weeks notice to book a private workshop.

  • Available days/times

    • At our location:

      • Tuesday-Friday evenings, 7:30PM start time, 9PM end time

      • If you need to begin earlier, additional fees will be incurred (as we would be closing early to accommodate you).

    • At your location:

      • Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: anytime between 10AM-8PM

    • If these days/times do not work for you and your group, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee this

• Capacity:

  • At our location:

    • 18 people (seated, classroom style)

    • 30 people (walkup style)

  • At your location:

    • 40 people (seated, classroom style)

    • no max capacity for walkup style

• Pricing:

  • Per person materials/supplies (based on type of project/size)

  • Teaching fee

    • $150 for one teacher (groups of 12 or less)

    • $225 for two teachers (groups of 13+)

  • Minimums

    • $500 for any private event

      • If your event does not cost at least $500, you will be charged the difference to bring you up to $500

  • Additional fees

    • Travel fee

      • If you are beyond 30 minutes from our location

    • Space rental fee

      • At our location only - if your event requires an earlier start time and requires us to close the shop early

      • Fee dependent on specific details of your event

 In addition to the options pictured above, we also offer simple potting workshops, which would include your choice of plants and pot:

• Plants potted into terra cotta

  • 4” (diameter) plants potted into terra cotta pot and saucer ($18 per person)

    • your choice of hardy tropical plants, succulents or cacti

  • 6” (diameter) plants potted into terra cotta pot and saucer ($38 per person)

    • your choice of hardy tropical plants, succulents or cacti

• Plants potted into ceramic

  • 4” (diameter) plants potted into ceramic pot and saucer ($30 per person)

    • your choice of hardy tropical plants, succulents or cacti

  • 6” (diameter) plants potted into terra cotta pot and saucer ($54 per person)

    • Hardy tropical plants

  • Your choice of white, black, or terra cotta / orange pots
