Foragers Folly Pop-Up

  • B.Willow 220 West 27th Street Baltimore, MD, 21211 United States (map)

We’re excited to host Foragers Folly for their first pop-up here at B.Willow!

Join us as we break down and divide some of our common native perennials such as Wild Violets and Wild Strawberries, take cuttings of medicinals like Mountain Mint, harvest seed from some of our woodland species like Allegheny Monkey Flower, and touch on plant tissue culture and its place in the Native Plant movement.

You'll be able to get hands on practice with these techniques as we discuss the ins and outs of each propagation method and the reasons behind them. All who attend will leave with a bit of seed, a division, or a cutting to get some practice at home and continue the journey.

The demo starts at 11, but be sure to check out the Foragers Folly from 10am-2pm to start building your very own native garden! We will have drought tolerant natives such as Bush Clover and New Jersey Tea which thrive in urban environments, woodland species like Woodmint and Asters for those shady backyards, subshrubs including Spice Bush and Buttonbush which attract and nurture tons of pollinators, as well as all your favorite edible native plants!
